As a premier Garden Route Christmas Market, we offer a boutique holiday shopping experience filled with handmade South African gifts, artisanal home decor, and unique local crafts. Proudly hosted by Boerevintage (Pty) Ltd, the event maintains the same high-quality standards and welcoming atmosphere our visitors have loved for years. Held each December in a spacious marquee at Redberry Farm, the market is a cornerstone of the community, supporting small businesses, employing 50 locals, and sourcing 90% of our services within the region. Endorsed by George Tourism, we are a must-visit destination for both residents and tourists. I did most of my shopping for my family at this market because I found a large variety of unique, useful and well-priced gifts. The market is proudly hosted at Redberry Farm in George, located on Geelhoutboom Road, Blanco. It is the perfect destination for families visiting the Garden Route during the December holidays, offering a festive atmosphere right at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains.
For the 2026 festive season, the market will be open from 12 December 2026 to 2 January 2027. We are open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please note that the market is closed on Sundays and Christmas Day, in line with Redberry Farm's operating hours.
No, entrance to Boerevintage Let's Love Local Gift Market is completely free! We welcome all residents and holiday visitors to browse our 220+ artisanal stalls at no cost. Please note that while the market is free, other activities at Redberry Farm (like strawberry picking or the hedge maze) may have their own separate fees.
Because Redberry Farm is a working commercial farm with strict bio-hazard and safety rules, no pets are allowed on the premises, including small pets carried in bags. We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain the farm's high standards.
Yes! Let’s Love Local Gift Market is held in a large marquee on a well-maintained, level grass field. To ensure a comfortable experience, we have installed 1.6-metre wide aisles throughout the market. All aisles are covered with PVC walkway runners, providing a stable and smooth path for wheelchairs, mobility aids, trolleys, and prams to navigate easily.
We welcome creative entrepreneurs and artisans from all over South Africa! While we are based in George, our mission is to support "local" on a national scale. Applications for our 2026 festive market open on 1 March 2026 and close on 30 April 2026. During this window, you can download the application pack from our Applications section.
